Further clues will be put on this page during the summer holiday to help those who need them.
By the way have you spotted the deliberate spelling mistake on the front cover. If you find it Email your answer using the Enquiry button.
Try the Europe Quiz in the FEATURES section.

Hints for Maths multiple grids (posted 21st July)
Look at your page when following these hints.
You can see that you have to multiply numbers from the top row by numbers on the left. In question 1 for example: 8 x 7 = ? (56). Also in question 1: 7 (on the left) x ? = 28. 7 x 4 makes 28, so 7 must go on the top line between the 8 and 5. You now have all the information to complete the grid.
In grid 4 though 48 has no multiples given. However 24 is made up of 4 x ? The missing multiple goes on the left and will therefore help you to work out the other multiple of 48.
In grid 5 the numbers 35 and 30 have no multiples given so trial and error can be used. I know that 5 goes into both numbers so I can put 5 on the top line between 3 and 4. Now you should be able to work out the other multiple. You can use this method for many questions. Just take your time and expect to find some easier than others. Good luck!

Don't leave your work until the last week. Do your work on wet days or when you have nothing else to do, maybe in the first part of the holiday. Remember to present your work well!
