Aladdin - what a production!

A major production at our school recently was a highly original version of the Pantomome Aladdin. All of the older children performed and sang and the headteacher and one of the dad's looked quite stunning in their wigs and dresses, as Fatty Ma and Fatty Mum, Aladdin's mum and auntie.

The show had it's own version of 'The Weakest Link' in which all contestants were from the world of politics, plus one parrot!

The original music was rewritten and performed by one of our parents. A dedicated band of parents and staff also produced all of the costumes and the excellent scenery.

What a performance!

Our school production of Aladdin, performed during December 2002, was based on an original
BBC Music Workshop production with additional material by Spike Milligan (the Time Sketch) and Garry Reed. Music arranged and performed by Douglas Hayter.

A Compact Disc recorded by the Ariel Centre, Ilfracombe has been made as an audio play and is available from school at only £6. 00. Please contact us via the FEEDBACK button or phone the school to order a copy. The contents of the C. D. are:
