Coastal field trip to Heddon's Mouth and Watermouth Cove

As part of our Geography work on coastlines classes 3 and 4 travelled across Exmoor to Heddon's Mouth and then to Watermouth Cove. We studied the Heddon Valley, the lime kiln and made beach art exhibits from natural materials in the style of Andy Goldsworthy.

After travelling over the highest cliffs in England we reached the secluded Watermouth Cove where we were able to explore caves and arches which we had learnt about back at school.

There are some interesting reports on the News pages.
