It occupied its present interesting Victorian building in 1866. This has since been extended and modified to provide a welcoming educational environment for children in the new millennium. In 2003 the school was further extended with a new admin block followed in 2009 by our Community Building - the base of our childcare provision. During the Summer of 2012 the first floor of the old school house and school kitchen and adjacent areas were remodelled
The school caters for children from the age of just under 5 to 11+. The 100 or so pupils are arranged into four classes, each with its own teacher, along with experienced teaching assistants and part time staff who further extend the curriculum and provide additional support. In addition we have breakfast and after school childcare facilities on site.
